National Medical College Teaching Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for the position of Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Professor in the Department of Psychiatric. 

• MD in Psychiatry from a recognized university

• Valid medical registration/license

• Experience in clinical psychiatry (preferred but not mandatory for junior roles)

• Excellent communication, counseling, and diagnostic skills

• Compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered approach

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses

• Prescribe and manage pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment plans

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy

• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, and other medical professionals for holistic care

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and treatment notes

• Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention when needed

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, medications, and coping strategies

• Participate in mental health awareness programs and institutional campaigns

• In teaching hospital, Mentor and guide postgraduate and undergraduate medical students

• Keep updated with latest psychiatric research, treatment guidelines, and advancements
